Adelaide's First Birthday Party

Yesterday we celebrated Adelaide turning one with a monkey themed party at our house. Monkey because I call her my little monkey and she loves banana's.

The Spread: Dessert Table

The Food Table: Jimmy John's subs, veggie tray, chips, potato salad, berries and peanut butter honey banana sandwiches
To drink: raspberry lemonade

The proud mama with the Birthday Girl!

It's my party and I'll cry if I want to! She reached for the candle right as Lillias blew it out for her and we think she kinda burned her finger :( We tried to feed her some cake but she was more interested in just being comforted in my arms (I won't complain, but it was sad!)

Present Time! She was still a little upset from the whole candle incident but sat on daddy's lap long enough to open most of the gifts.

The invitation:

We love our sweet Adelaide and it was fun to celebrate her with some of our family and friends!

  1. Wow, all I can say is oh my gosh! This is the most darling little girls birthday I have ever seen. And the pictures are all so pretty. You would probably like my cousin's etsy shop...she does this kind of stuff and she's really good at it. She has a blog, too. Her little company is called Love The Day. Anyway, cute cute cute party and cute girls!! Happy birthday Addy! :)

  2. What a beautiful party! And I LOVE yours girl's names! We have a Lillian and I really wanted to name our new baby Adelaide but couldn't win my husband over to it =(...It is such a beautiful name!

  3. How did I not know you had a blog? Such a cute party! Wish we saw you guys more!

  4. Happy to know about the first birthday party of your daughter. My sister shared number of professional clicks taken by them for musical concert. Loved the sophisticated home studios NYC booked by the team. Amazing set up and that too in such reliable prices is great. Will surely attend their next concert.
